January Catch Up

I wish I was better about blogging! Just thought I'd do a quick catch up blog. Everyone here at the Four Bair household is doing great! Lea is now 5 and a half and a successful reader in kinder! She enjoys her playdates, dance class, Daisy Scouts, and riding her 2-wheel without training wheels. Mitchell turned 4 last month and continues to be all boy all the time! He likes to have Garrett pitch baseballs to him everyday, and continues to love anything shiny and metal. Mitchell loves playing with tools, cars, transformers, and legos. They are both such a joy, and I love them so much! Garrett and I are both working hard full time and working hard at raising these two special souls! We're working hard on balancing and trying to do our monthly date nights! Any baby sitters out there? Let us know!! We wish everyone a very happy 2011! Hopefully more blogs to come soon.......

Been a Long time!

Wow! How awful! I haven't blogged in over 6 mos! I went back to work in February teaching 2nd grade in the PVUSD, which was a big part of why I've been awful! In a nutshell.....Lea finished pre-k, did her first tap dance recital, and turns 5 on the 24th. Tomorrow we are having her "spa" themed party. I can't believe it! Mitchell is now 3.5, just learned to swim, and loves it, and continues to love tools, coins, flashlights, taking things apart, and Home Depot. My two babies are growing so fast, and I'm so blessed that they call me mommy! Garrett is staying very busy! First we had a role reversal in that he took care of the kids for 3 months while I went to work. It was great for the kids to have daddy home, and for daddy to see how tough it can be. Now he is doing some contract work back in the telecom wireless industry and continues to dabble in real estate, his true passion. We are all doing very well!

Happy Thanksgiving

Lea did a little Thanksgiving program at school. She was a pilgim. They sang for us then afterward made a turkey cupcake. Finally, we played at the park with some of her friends from school.

I'm looking forward to her Christmas program this week, where she'll star as an angel. Already my little angel girl though. Pictures to follow from that and more holiday happenings. I'll try not to go soooo long this time with my blog posts!

Fall Playdate with the Horkys

We love regularly getting together with our friends Emily and Natalie. We went to an older park with large trees, big hills, and so many fall leaves, it didn't seem like AZ. (Well....I'm only slightly exaggerating.)

Visit With the Starrs

Old friends Kari Jo and Doug and their family came in for the ASU/Oregon State game. We had a great reunion going to the game and barbequing at our place the day after. With guest appearances by Mere, Laur, and the Hannulas! What a party!! :-)

Halloween 2009

We had an adorable little cowboy and cowgirl this year! We started out at our neighbor Drew's birthday party...then we all trick or treated around the neighborhood. The kids had a blast and got LOTS of candy, which mommy would sneak when they were napping (just the stuff they wouldn't like of course).

Firestation Field Trip

We went with some friends to a firestation tour! The kids enjoyed sitting on the truck and spraying the hose of course, but they also learned a lot. You can see them crawling under the smoke.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

The kids enjoyed playing in the corn and petting the animals the most. It's always a great day. We tried a new farm this year but will go back to Schnepf Farm next year...it's amazing!

Wildlife World Zoo

This is an awesome zoo and aquarium! All the animals are so close, and the aquarium has stingrays to pet among others. We had a great time! Much better than the Phoenix Zoo.
