Happy New Year! We hope you all had a great holiday season and are as excited about the new year as we are. We had a wonderful holiday with both sets of grandparents all together to celebrate not only Christmas, but also Mitchy's first birthday! We all had a lot of fun playing in our grassy backyard (Garrett worked so hard putting that grass in!), hiking, visiting with the Nanas, Papa, and Pap Pap, and of course playing with new toys. We even took the kids to Desert Ridge to see the "snow" that was brought in. I think next year we will go up north to see the real thing. I've also already booked our tickets for the Polar Express for next year. Can you believe you have to book a year in advance!? I was able to have a great reunion dinner with Mere, Alice, Laur, and Teresa over the holiday, and Garrett and I were there to root for West Virgina at the Fiesta Bowl, thanks to Aunt Denise and Uncle Gordon.
