The Cat Was Away So the Mice Played & Played!

While Garrett was gone on his 9 day trip to the Selway, the kids and I stayed so busy! We kicked it off with a slumber party with the Horky kids. We had several bday parties to go to which included our first water balloon fights. FInally, a great time was had at the beach and Sea World in San Diego with Nana Sheree! We stayed right on the beach in La Jolla. The kids both LOVED the waves and water. Lea was all the way out with the surfers and could not get enough of being knocked around by the waves. Mitchell also loved it but was a bit more cautious. They worked together to make sand castles, which was great to see. At Sea World, the rides were a huge hit along with getting splashed by Shamu!! Even still, we missed daddy a lot!

Garrett's Backpack Trip Along the Selway River

Garrett and his dad took a fantastic and greuling 50 mile backpack trip along the Selway River in early Sept. They did awesome! Here are a few pics from that adventure.

Summer Highlights

Lots of fun stuff this summer....tons of swimming, birthday parties, visits from friends, puppet shows, and ice cream. We're having so much fun and here are just some random highlights.
